Restaurant Review: Luke’s Corner Bar and Kitchen

This past weekend was busy, relaxing, fun and productive. All of the things we wish for in a great weekend. We kicked the weekend off right with a night out on South Granville at a new restaurant, Luke’s Corner Bar and Kitchen ( and I was more than impressed.

Being a new restaurant, Luke’s was packed full of people and energy. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table, so decided to head down to Ouisi Bistro for a beer.

Sure to their word, Luke’s called us within 15 minutes with a great table.

We started off with two Gin Rickeys, a fun twist on the classic G ‘n’ T

These refreshing beverages went great with the hot wings we proceeded to order next. They were the perfect mix of crispy, creamy, and spicy.

Next, we split the Tropical Tuna Sashimi Stack, which tasted more and more like the amazing flavours of Hawaii with every bite.

My favourite dish of the night, however, was the Auntie Erin’s Chicken Club. I don’t know who Auntie Erin is, but she makes a mighty delicious club sandwich. Complete with their signature skinny fries.

Look at all those flavours!!

Luke’s is a must-go for sure. Put it on your agenda for this weekend. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
