Pappa Al Pomodoro

One of the best meals I had in Italy this past summer was a soup called Pappa Al Pomodoro. I had it in a tiny restaurant in the quiet part of Florence.

I tried to re-create it last week and while it wasn’t quite the same, it took me straight back to Tuscany. Isn’t that all than we can ask of our food? To help us re-create incredibly romantic memories??
