NYC: Corsino

This week I will be doing something a little different with my “where to eat tonight” post. One of the best restaurants we ate at during our trip to NYC was a little place called Cantina Corsino Italiano. Located in the West Village (one of my absolute favourite neighbourhoods in the world), Corsino is a small locals’ hot spot serving everything from small plates to large pasta dinners. The wine list is impeccable, and the vibe is relaxed, with fabulous service. The food was amazing, and it was the perfect first night in NYC.
varied menu

risotto croquette with arugula

3 different crostinis

buratta with ramps – this dish was absolutely mouthwatering

arugula salad

ravioli of the day

a recommended Ligurian light red – amazing glass of wine. wine list here

cheese for dessert

Overall, this restaurant became a quick favourite for it’s laidback atmosphere, impeccable wine list, creative food and adorable location.
